Pattersonville - David Charles Johnson, 68, passed away January 4, 2017 in Pattersonville, NY. David was born in Cooperstown, NY. The last two decades of his life, David, known as "DJ", lived in Schenectady ARC's group home, Menard House . DJ enjoyed spending time with friends in the community, listening to music and various audiobooks both at home and at program (Princetown Ridge). He was a beloved member of the ARC family , his housemate, Star, was particularly fond of him. She referred to him as her "husband" and loved him very much. He will be missed. David's father, Mauritz Johnson, his mother, Shirley Johnson, and a brother, Carl Johnson, preceded him in death. He is survived by a brother, William Johnson of Charlottesville, VA, two sisters, Linnea Johnson of Logan, Utah and Elizabeth Flanagan of Holbrook, Massachusetts, an aunt, Janet Mathews of Westford, NY, an uncle, Richard Busacker of San Antonio, TX, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Tuesday afternoon 2 o'clock at the Daly Funeral Home 242 McClellan St. Visitation will be Tuesday 12-2 at the Funeral Home. There will be a private interment at Westford Cemetery, Westford, NY, in the spring
