Obituary of Nellie Duncan

East Glenville - Nellie S. Duncan, 95, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. Nellie was born in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of the late Stephen and Eva (Green) Strenges, and was a lifelong resident of the Mohawk Valley. She was predeceased by her husband, Stuart Duncan.
She is survived by her children, James Duncan, John (Rhonda) Duncan and Maribeth Kuzia; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in Brattleboro, VT in the spring. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the East Glenville Fire Department, 433 Saratoga Rd., Scotia, NY 12302 or Mohawk Ambulance, 793 State St., Schenectady, NY 12307.
