Schenectady - Marian F. Locke, 88, passed away peacefully Monday, August 14, 2017 at Ellis Hospital. Marian was born in Schenectady the daughter of the late Herbert and Catherine (Hayes) Locke and was a lifelong resident. She attended the Catholic school system and secretarial school. Marian worked at the General Electric for close to 40 years. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. Marian will be lovingly missed by those who knew her. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews. Marian was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and John Locke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 12 noon at St. John the Evangelist, 806 Union St., Schenectady. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1270 Belmont Ave., Schenectady, NY 12308.
