Albany - Ann Malo Parker, 84, died Thursday, December 14, 2017, at her home in Albany. Ann was born in Mechanicville, the daughter of Leone and Mary Fiacco. She was a graduate of Mechanicville High School. For many years she worked for New York State Department of Social Services in Albany. She later worked as a legal secretary for New York State Department of Lottery in Schenectady, retiring in 1999. She had been a communicant of St. Luke's Church and in recent years, St. Margaret Mary Church. She enjoyed listening to classical music, watching movies and was an avid reader. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Malo in 1997. Ann is survived by her son Jeff (Monica) Malo of Richmond, VA; her sister Carm ( Ken) Wood of Stillwater and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Leo, J., Anthony, Delores Knapp and Kathryn Arnold. Funeral service Wednesday night 6: 00 at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302. There will be a gathering, following the funera,l at a location later to be announced.
