Krista Alexandra Rosen-Eck entered into eternal rest March 1st, 2023, at the age of 51. She was born at Catskill Memorial Hospital and was raised in Earlton, NY with her parents and two brothers. Krista's passion was always her beautiful, smart, and joyful daughter, Olivia. Whenever someone would talk to Krista, she would always boast about how wonderful her Livy was doing. The proudest of moments came when Olivia walked across the stage at her graduation. Krista would tell anyone who would listen that her baby girl graduated. Olivia was, and forever will be, her greatest accomplishment. Krista obtained her Associate's degree in nursing at Hudson Valley Community College. Her passion to help others led her into a long 25+ year career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She started her path at St Margaret's Center where she cared for different abled children and young adults. This job was so special to her that, after Olivia was older, she returned so she would be able to help the children in need. Krista most enjoyed spending her time with Olivia, as well as her closest of friends. Her high school best friend, Jessica Mulligan, and her "work wife", Ashley McEwan, were her second favorite people to spend time with. Krista was most known for her infectious smile and laugh. She was always the person who would pick you up when you were feeling down, even if she wasn't feeling her best. She had one of the most selfless, kindhearted personalities that you couldn't help but fall in love with her. Krista is survived by her wonderful daughter, Olivia Alexandra Quinn, her husband of 17 years, Arthur Harold Eck, and her snuggle buddy Gizmo. She is also survived by her father, Gary Alan Rosen, and her two brothers, Richard and Eric as well as her several nephews. She was predeceased by her best friend of all time, her mother, Elizabeth "Zibbie" Alexandra Rosen, her grandfather Werner Rosen, and her baby boy chihuahua, Rudy. A memorial service in Krista's memory will be held at a later date for all of her family and friends to pay tribute to such a beautiful soul lost too soon. Any monetary contributions can be made in her memory to St. Margarets Center in Albany, NY.
