I lost my best friend of 54 years. My mom passed away after health complications from a fall. I will always carry her with me in my heart as she was there to pick me up when I had fallen and cheer me on, celebrate my successes and always above all ground me in the importance of family. Words can't describe the loss but she will always be a part of me and who I have become. Rest in peace, you will be missed but always loved. To an amazing mother, friend, dance partner.
