Obituary of Marie C. Matarazzo

Monahan-Matarazzo, Marie, 90, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2020, at Wesley Health Care Center, Saratoga Springs, NY. Marie was born in New York City and was the daughter of the late Serafino and Carmela Zito. She was educated in Chatham NY and graduated in 1947. She was predecessor by her husband, Francis James Monahan, in 1977 and by her second husband, Angelo Matarazzo, in 2001. She is also predeceased by her brother, Carlo Zito. Marie is survived by her daughter, Linda Bolton (Michael) of Stillwater NY, her grandchildren, Kelli Hoertkorn (Charles) of Gansevoort NY, Andrew Bolton of Stillwater NY and William (Courtney) Bolton of Stillwater; also, great-grandchildren, Brayden Hoertkorn, Camden, Rylee & Corey Bolton. She is also survived by a sister, Jennie Bisnett of Latham and several nieces and nephews. The family would like thank all of the wonderful staff on 3 Springs at Wesley for the kindness and compassion shown to my Mom and our family. Due to COVID, a memorial mass will be held at a later date to be announced.
