Roger V. Lindsey, 93, died peacefully at home on December 26, 2020.
Roger was born in Cortland, NY, on December 7, 1927. He lived in Syracuse, NY, moving to the Schenectady area in 1979 to manage the newly opened Cole Muffler shop on State St.
He was predeceased by his son Jeffrey in 2013, his first wife Frances in 1958 and by his 7 siblings. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly, and his sons, Larry (Patti) and children Justin and Laurie; David and children Reilly, Amira and Zoey; Greg (Wendy) and children Jessica and Alexis; and Jeff's children Ashley, Shelby and Jeffrey. He is also survived by 13 greatgrands including his special Emma who gave him great joy in his final five years.
Roger enjoyed antique cars and flea markets but first and foremost he was a devoted family man and will be sorely missed. He wished a special thank you to his hospice team Leah, Chi, Mary and Cylon.
As per his wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. Hopefully, in future better days, his family and friends can gather to honor his memory.
