Ruth,
My beautiful, sweet, kind, amazing little sister I will miss you every day so very very much. I really can’t believe you’re gone. I will miss our lunches together and all of our shopping trips. You are with Jack Anthony now, you were the best godmother to him and he loves you so very very much.
Not only did we become best friends over the past years, but you gave me the strength, and your knowledge to help me deal with losing Jack. Anytime I didn’t feel well or my children weren’t feeling well or there was any type of nursing question, I would call you immediately and you knew what to say and for us to do!
Those who knew you and loved you will miss you, but you are not gone. I truly believe you live in our hearts now, and your energy surrounds us and helps us to be strong. Memories never die, and love can never be taken away from us.
You are not here to hug and kiss and to cry with and laugh with now! Yet, what I do know is that you are still here for me and you have given me the gift of strength.
