Obituary of John W. Bropson

Schenectady - John W. Bropson, 64, passed away Tuesday, June 29, at the Community Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, John loved the friends he made in the ARC Day Program, and throughout his almost-thirty-year residence at ALG. He had many wonderful caregivers who truly loved him for his warm, funny, memorable personality. He loved Camp Wilton, dancing, bowling--all of the many activities planned for him. He will be missed by many. John enjoyed attending the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Philomena (Fanny) and William J. Bropson. Survivors include his younger siblings Bill (Eileen) Bropson and Maryanne Prager, and nieces and nephews. Funeral service, Tuesday, July 6, 12:30 p.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. Calling hour will precede the service, Tuesday 11-12:30. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
