Obituary of Polixeni Kingra

Polixeni 'Paula' (Avramidis) Kingra, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on July 14, 2021, at the age of 58. A beloved wife, mother, sister, auntie, godmother, cousin, and friend, she will be remembered for her unwavering positivity and boundless love for everyone she met. Paula fought with immeasurable strength and grace throughout her life. May her memory be eternal. Paula is survived by her devoted, loving husband of 25 years, Harinder 'Hari' and their three beautiful children, Balwant, Sukhpal, and Nirmann 'Nina', her mother, Stavroula and father, Vasilios Avramidis, and father-in-law, Harpal Kingra, and brother-in-law Gurinderpal Kingra. She is predeceased by her mother-in-law, Balwant Kaur Kingra. Her sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces, aunts, uncles, friends, and loved ones from across the world will forever cherish her memory and carry on her legacy. Paula's warm smile brought people from all walks of life together. Whether at her kitchen island or in a new city, she exuded a kindness, calmness, and patience that made you feel safe and loved. Relatives and loved ones are invited to visit Daly Funeral Home in Schenectady on Sunday, July 18, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021, at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church in Schenectady.
