Carol Thomas, of Nanticoke, PA, passed peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY, on January 21, 2025. After completing 6th grade, Carol cared for her ill mother, Mrs. Richard Delahunty, until employed by Westinghouse, as an electronic assembler for 14 years, before moving on to Eastman Kodak and Singer Systems, soldering and arc welding circuit boards, television tubes, cameras and the like. During this time, Carol and Bob, husband of 60 years, relocated to remain close to their disabled daughter, Robyn, born 1962 in Troy, NY, before finally settling in Troy/Watervliet, around 1990. Carol had two sisters and remained close with nieces and nephews, Helen, Heather, Cheryl and Frank. Despite the many trials and tribulations life threw at her, with a pleasant attitude and welcoming smile, Carol made friends wherever she went, including long-time friends, Lee Warchol and John DellaRatta, her Quinn Apt. family of Randy, Bonnie, Kayla, Dianne and many others. Services: Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan Street, Schenectady, NY on Friday, the 31th, at 12:00 p.m. and Saratoga National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
