Amelia Lopez, 94, of Schenectady NY passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on March 4, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Amelia was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico on September 26, 1930. Amelia worked for thirty years as the Director of Housekeeping at the Da Vinci Hotel in Condado Puerto Rico. She was a dedicated, hard worker and instilled her work ethic in her children and grandchildren. In addition to being a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, Amelia held an unwavering faith in God which she shared with those who surrounded her. Amelia will be deeply missed but her legacy of faith, love, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Amelia joins her husband, Antonio Ramos; her son, Miguel Ramos; and her grandson, Jack Ramos, in Heaven. She is survived by her loving family her children, Antonio Ramos, and Evelyn Ramos; grandchildren, Ruby, Miguel, Johana, Dayanara, and Mark Anthony; great-grandchildren, Armando, Leonel, Ana Cecilia, Miguel, and Gabriel; and great-great-grandchildren, Noel, Amiri, Esmeralda, and Kahdiel.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the services which will be held Monday morning, March 10th, at 10:30 a.m., at the Daly Funeral Home (Schenectady) followed by a Christian graveside service at Park View Cemetery.
