Obituary of Eric Detwyler

Schenecady- Eric Stephen Detwyler, 62, died at home on Monday, March 31, 2025. He was born in Albany, NY and graduated from the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. He later moved to Schenectady, NY and was employed in Albany at the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles. Eric is lovingly remembered for his kindness and his concern for others. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth (Betty) Detwyler, nephews and nieces: Todd Weddle (Connie), Casie Weddle, Paige Weddle Kerr, and Mark Weddle. Burial will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton, MA. In lieu of a service we ask that you remember Eric through your own acts of kindness and compassion.
