Obituary of Gloria P. Vogel

Gloria Phoebe Vogel - Clifton Park - Mrs. Gloria Phoebe Vogel, age 94, went to be with Jesus in her forever home on April 7, 2025. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Clifton Park. Gloria was born on September 12, 1930, in Rotterdam to her parents Frederick and Winifred Stay, into a family of twelve siblings. She fell in love and began a marriage with Rhein Vogel Jr. in 1953 which lasted 61 years. Among Gloria's most significant accomplishments was raising her three children, Pamela Vogel, Kim Zeronda (Bill), Eric Vogel (deceased) whom she held as her pride and joy. She loved her grandchildren Erica Templeton (Dr. Erik Morrow), Jason Zeronda (Stephanie), Tyler Zeronda (Julie), Rhein Zeronda (Kaitlyn). She cherished her six great-grandchildren, Evangeline, Lillienne, Liam, Avery, Callan, and Rhein and took great pleasure in watching them grow. She will be missed by all. Gloria enjoyed embroidery, reading, Sudoku, puzzles, and spending time with her family and loved ones. She had a passion for genealogy and spent many hours creating family heritage notebooks for her family. She had many fond memories of spending summers at Lake George and winters skiing when her family was young. In her later years, Rhein and Gloria were "snowbirds" spending winters in Florida and traveling extensively. A celebration of Gloria's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11 at Grace Fellowship Church, 1 Enterprise Avenue, Halfmoon, NY 12065. Interment will be private, at the convenience of the family. Flowers may be delivered to Grace Fellowship Church on Thursday, April 10 from 9 a.m.
