Mary Ann Hutchins, 84, a lifelong resident of Schenectady,

NY, passed away on May 13, 2025 at home. She was born

on August 19, 1939 to Mina and Lester Hyson. She later

married her husband Leslie "Hutch" Hutchins in 1961, and

together they welcomed their children; Cindy, Sandra,

Nancy, and Raymond.

Mary Ann lived a simple life, yet she was incredibly rich in

the love of her family. She was a devoted mother,

grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend

She will be fondly remembered for her creative ways of

making lasting memories for all that she held dear through

her humor, unfiltered wit, generosity, and joyful spirit. She

loved to have a good time and was a natural entertainer.

She could make any occasion special. She always knew

how to make an entrance and shine as the star of the

show.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband Leslie "Hutch"

Hutchins in 2008, as well as her parents Mina and Lester

Hyson, brothers Raymond Hyson and Lester Hyson,

brother-in-law Henry "Lefty" Montefusco and Michael

Dixon, sister-in-law Louise Hyson, and her beloved dog

Teddy.

She is survived by her beloved children; Cindy Varriale and

husband Raymond of Galway, NY, Sandra Davis and her

husband Matthew of Leonardo, NJ, Nancy Witschel of

Clearwater, FL, and Raymond Hutchins of Glenville, NY; her

"Dollies" grandchildren Margaret, Kelly, Kyle, Matthew,

Lydia, Cody, Justin, Alexys; her brood of

great-grandchildren Connor, Owen, Lenzi, Violet, Parker,

Asher, and Calvin; her sisters Della Montefusco and Marilyn

Dixon, brother Douglas Hyson, as well as many nieces,

nephews and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held in Mary Ann's memory at a

later date.
