Elsie Swede Wyman, age 95, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, in Schenectady, NY. Born on September 15, 1929, in Akron, NY, Elsie brough warmth, humor, and kindness wherever she went.

In her early years, Elsie worked at Schenectady Savings Bank before dedicating herself full-time to raising her family - a role she cherished most. She will be lovingly missed by her three children: LeRoy " Bud " Wyman (Wife, Terri, Deceased), Carol McLain (Husband, Paul), and Pam Greenough (Husband, Jim). Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her long life.

Elsie's life was defined by her generous spirit, easy laughter, and deep love for her family. She leaves behind countless cherished memories and gentle reminders to enjoy the little things. She is also reunited with her beloved cat, Shadow, who passed before her.

A service to celebrate Elsie's life will be held on Tuesday, July 1st at Daly Funeral home in Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will being at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 12:00 p.m.

She will be deeply missed, but her love and light live on in all who knew her.
