Gary W. Feeney

Saratoga Springs, NY – Gary W. Feeney passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Marcella Feeney. After graduating high school, Gary honorably served his country during the Vietnam era and remained a proud lifetime member of the VFW. He went on to enjoy a long and successful career with General Electric, retiring after 35 years of dedicated service.

Gary loved to travel, with a special fondness for York, Maine, and he shared his joy with others by volunteering his time calling bingo at the Niskayuna Senior Center. His humor, generosity, and devotion to family and friends will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen (Husselbeck) Feeney; his sons, Shawn Gary and Shannon Patrick; his daughter, Kellie, and her husband, Wayne Johnson; two grandsons, one granddaughter, two great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan Street, Schenectady, New York. A graveside service will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, New York.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Voice for the Voiceless.
