Mary Muller, age 89, passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, NY, after a brief admission. She sadly missed her 90th birthday dinner celebration that she was looking forward to with her children, their spouses, brother and two sisters-in-law, son's fiancée, grandson and girlfriend, and loyal family friends, Bill and Amy Feerick.

Mary was born in Queens, New York to Agnes (Davis) and Thomas F. Ryan. They were said to move around quite a bit during her childhood. That behavior was repeated many times during her adult life. In fact, it could be said that it was something of a passion for her.

Mary attended Catholic school in Queens, there making many lifetime friends who enjoyed many get-togethers and card games with Mary and husband Hank while raising their families on Long Island. Mary was very a able and continued playing card games with new friends throughout numerous moves. She worked at a bank in Manhattan after high school and then as a bookkeeper for her husband's business, Central Transmission, in Johnstown, NY.

Mary enjoyed 48 years married to the love of her life, Henry G. Muller from Flushing, Queens. He doted on her and provided well for her and their five children. They moved from Smithtown to Johnstown to Caroga Lake to many houses in Georgia to Charlottesville, Va. Then after Hank's passing in 2003, Mary moved back to Georgia to many residences, including many independent living apartments and finally to Kingsway Manor in June of 2024 where she was plotting her next move back to Georgia.

Mary was predeceased by Hank, their beloved son Michael, son-in-law David Flory, granddaughter Tracy

(Gottschall) Bryant, brother-in-law Eddy Muller, her good friends Jane Pohl, Dottie and Bob Wagner, Ed Reichert, Dave Field and others.

She is survived by her children Linda (Muller) Flory; John and Karla (Gottschall) Muller; Susan (Muller) and Michael Farber; and William Muller, engaged to Leisa Frye. She is survived by her sibling Robert D. Ryan and sister-in-law Syma Funt Ryan. Grandchildren Julie (Gottschall) Costello, Jack Parisella. Nieces and nephews: John Ryan, Dan Ryan, Carolyn Ryan, Kristie Muller and Jenny Muller. Great-grandchildren Lily, Maya and Nora Costello. She is also survived by sister-in-law Margaret Muller. Friends Mary Jane Field, Laura Pohl, Ronnie Reichert, Edna Kulla, Marilyn Dean, Mary Hayes, Lois Conrad, Grace Wilson.

Mary packed for and planned yearly vacations from Smithtown, L.I. to Lake George and then to the family camp on Caroga Lake where the kids learned waterskiing and enjoyed many board and card games.

The family would liketo thank Kingsway Manor Assisted Living for their wonderful, personal care sine 2024.

Mary's cremains will be interred in Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, Ga with her husband's cremains on their wedding anniversary, Maye 8, 2026.
