On October 17, 2025, Tammy Jean Litts passed away unexpectedly at the age of 54. Tammy is survived by her husband, Christopher Litts, and her three daughters, her bonus daughter and her niece, who she viewed as a daughter and their children: Brittiany Ricci (Sal, Adrianna, Jayden, and Zayla), Megan Messina (Bryer, Cassandra, and Jae'Lynn), Desirae Bashaw-Price (Arilynn Torres) , Erin Cooper (Kendall & Kameron) & Airianna Litts. She is also survived by her siblings, Jeffery Bashaw and Kimberly Cooper.

Born on October 30, 1970, in New Britain, Connecticut, Tammy became a lifelong resident of Schenectady, New York. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to caring for her family.

As of August 2025, Tammy was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and succumbed to her illness shortly thereafter. She is widely regarded as a strong and compassionate woman by those who knew her. As a loving daughter, mother, wife, and grandmother, Tammy's legacy will continue to inspire generations.

The funeral services will be held on October 26, 2025, at Daly Funeral Home in Schenectady, New York, at 10:00 AM.
