Cynthia L. Markle Obituary

Cynthia L. Markle, passed on Tuesday, October 21st surrounded by her family, after a brief illness. Cynthia was born in Schenectady to the late Francis and Mildred Flynn. She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School, where she later met her husband, Jim. Together, they shared a beautiful life and raised one son, Todd. Cynthia took great pride in her career as a dental hygienist and loved to share stories about her professional experiences.


She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 57 years, Jim; her devoted son, Todd (Renee'); her cherished granddaughter, Halie; her beloved four-legged companion, Bear; and many extended family members.


Calling hours will be held Sunday, October 26 from 1 to 4 PM at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. in Schenectady with a funeral service beginning at 4PM. Interment will take place on Monday, October 27, at 11:30 AM sharp at Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.


In honor of Cynthia's love for animals, donations may be made in her memory to an animal shelter of your choice.
