Rita Gail (DiGirolamo) Walker, 72 of Scotia NY passed away of natural causes at the Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing on Friday October 24, 2025.
For many years Gail had a self-run cleaning business before becoming a caretaker for her grandchildren.
More than anything she loved being a grandma and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.
Gail is survived by her daughter Jodi (Jim) Costello, son Jay Walker, grandchildren Savanah Westcott, Laraina Westcott, and Skylar Costello. She is also survived by siblings Cathy Duclos, Elaine Rudisil, Dottie (Andrew) Marino, Kevin DiGirolamo and David DiGirolamo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her fur baby Louie.
She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Gwendolyn (Hensley) DiGirolamo, her loving husband John (Skip) Walker and brother Dominick DiGirolamo.
