God bless your beautiful soul my dear sister Mamillo.
Now you are with "the great cloud of witness," looking down at us all.
You left too soon, and I cries bitterly for not been given a chance to see you alive again, in person. It's all my fault.
I always believe we all would have 70 years plus 10, and an increase after that, but 54 was your number I guess. I don't know why I thought I was way older than you. I am still surprised we were just a few years apart.
Girl, there is so much life left from 54 to 80! But it is sadly not promised. Your assignment here is done, my dear girl, as God planned it all out. God's plans are aways better than our plans as you know,. You are where God is, and you can ask him anything now. He has instant answers ,no more waiting.
You and the others from church have always been in my thoughts. When I think of you, I see those beautiful dimples, and that shy smile. We were the down to earth christians, no drinking, smoking, etc. Church was our life in Canal.
I always remember Rico's bottom house and when the Holy Spirit filled many of us. What a Sunday that was?
Oh gosh those are enough christian childhood memories to carry us home to eternity. What a beautiful and memorable life we had growing up in Canal! Teaching sunday school, going to get and take the children home, the bushcooks, gathering vegetables and fruits for the harvest, concert, prayer meetings, funerals, singing, bible sword, etc. You were prepared well before going to Antigua for your assignment there. I will see you again.
I love you always, and will forever my dear sister Mamillo.
Your sister forever in Christ - Radica Nibar

Jasmattie, and her family brought love and joy into our church. We consider ourselves blessed to have known her, even though the time was short. Praying for peace for her husband and children, friends and family.

Although I may not have known you as well as most you were still a big part of my life. Your food, your cupcakes, the warmth and generosity you brought to me made me feel so welcome. It is sad that I have to see you go already but you'll always be with us.

I met Jas in Antigua in 1997-1998. She was working @ a Lawyer Office and I was living behind the office. We fast became friends. She was my advisor and very supportive as I was going through some personal stuff. Always encourage me to be strong and carry on. When I left Antigua for the US. We stayed in touch , I went back once and stayed at her home. Adrian was just born. She and Subhas welcome me with open arms. We kind of faze Out a bit with life but whenever we catch up. It was like no time pass. We did all of our catching up.
Jas was a good soul. She loved her children and was a good wife .
She always lifted her children with praise and was happy for the way they all are gifted and have great achievements. Which they all worked hard to get there.
She was special in so many ways, only the Monday and Tuesday of the week she passed. We video chats for more than a hour each time. She had so many plans and was waiting for Adrian and Gabby to teach their goal also. Was very proud of her children!!
Brandon she telling me of your achievement and was telling me all you did for her.
Told me she was looking forward to Adrian coming home for the weekend. This is very tragic and my love and prayers go out to the entire family.
Rest in peace my dear friend Jas!!
You will always be remembered with love!

We are all so saddened, Mamilo, by your sudden passing. You are gone, but you will never be forgotten. Your legacy lives on through your beautiful children. Your commitment and hard work as a mother — especially your dedication to their education — have instilled values and discipline that will live on in them and in every life they touch. You will surely be rewarded for the love and sacrifice you poured into your family.
I am deeply sorry we never had the chance to reconnect in the States after so many years. Your life, and now your passing, remind us all that time is precious, life is unpredictable, and we must surround ourselves with love always.
Rest in peace, Mamilo. You will forever remain in our hearts.

Jass was a beautiful, kind, quiet lady. She was part of the Dolphin swim club while in Antigua. She visited is just about 2 weeks ago. We were all so happy to see her. Her soft , captivating smile told a lot about her. She spoke about her grandchild and soon going to see her. The news of her passing reminds us that we are here but for a while...but we were not prepared to say good bye. I wonder, though, we did not not know her visit would have been her last. Adrian, Gabrielle and your other siblings., and spouse, be comforted that you had such a lovely lady in your life. May her soul rest in peace.

Mamilo, you were such a sweet, kind and loving person. I remember visiting in Canal, you would go above and beyond to make sure we had the best fruit and delicious food. You raised beautiful and intelligent kids and were so proud of them as well as your cute granddaughter. This is a shock to everyone, you will always be remembered for your bright smile, and kind and loving ways. May your beautiful soul Rest in Peace.

Jas, I knew something was wrong, you did not greet me the way I have known for over 25 years. Your excitement to share the success stories of your children, and all the progress in your family life was not there this time when we last crossed paths at JFK. You seemed distant - what happened Jas !!
You did such an amazing job for your family, the fruits of your labour sit in the presence of your children, you did an incredible job, these were the days for you to now enjoy those long, hard sacrificial years, I am so saddened and broken by your untimely departure.
I can see you in your ASC uniform, working hard at your studies like it was yesterday in 1994, and supporting your husband dearly as you planned and built your lives together. Nicholas was the pride of your daily conversations, we knew he would do well, then Brandon, amazingly followed, then your daughter, incredible, all positive kids under your love and guidance !!!
I wish I had taken one more minute to ask if you were okay, I thought you were perhaps exhausted with travel, as your bags were also misplaced on arrival in Antigua, I thought a lot was going on that day, but I also felt like what were the chances, after such a long time, that we will just randomly cross paths in a busy place like JFK International !!!
That was the Universe's way of giving us a final chance to say goodbye. Our friendship will never die, but I am broken in spirit to learn of your passing.
My respect for you will live on for the rest of my own life on earth.
Marlon Higgins
