Schenectady, New York — RALLIS COHN, 73, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at his home, surrounded by the love of his family.
Rallis was born in Schenectady and was the beloved son of the late Stanley Cohn, Sr. and Gladys Lashway. He was a lifelong area resident and a familiar, friendly presence to many in the community.
Rallis worked for 17 years at White Eagle Packaging Company. Prior to that, he was employed for many years with various cleaning companies, the local bingo hall, and Alplaus Farm. A hardworking man, he took pride in every job he did.
In his free time, Rallis enjoyed fishing and hunting, watching westerns, spending time with animals, Sunday dinner and most especially cherishing time with his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.
Rallis was predeceased by the love of his life and wife of 43 years, Linda Cohn; his parents; his brothers, Gary Cohn and Stanley Cohn, Jr.; and his grandson, Grayson Cohn.
He is survived by his beloved children: Richard Cohn; Katherine Cohn-Jacqueway (Justin); Phillip Cohn (Heley); Deanna Cohn (Janelle); and Barbara Czaplicki (Andy). He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Desiree (Eric), Anastashia (Juan), Elijah, Ma'Carie, and Catta'Leya.
Rallis is further survived by his siblings, Larry (Linda), Donald, Donna (Dice), Marie, and Joan, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Rallis' family on Friday, January 2, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, NY, with a service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
