Schenectady - Rosemarie Johanna Heinegg died on December 29 in Schenectady, New York at the age of 81. Born in 1944 in Natick, Massachusetts, she attended Gonzaga University for undergrad, and then received a Masters from Boston College, and continued her education at Columbia University Teachers' College, finally earning a Ph.D from SUNY Albany.

She worked as an adjunct professor at Union College and as an Associate in Instructional Services at New York State Education Department.

She was a world traveler and a loving parent and grandmother. In her retirement, she blossomed as a street photographer.

She is survived by her children: son Max Heinegg of Medford, MA and daughter Alexandra Heinegg of Brooklyn, NY and their families.
