Schenectady – Robert L. Thomas, Sr., born October 6, 1950, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026, surrounded by his loving wife and children.

He was born in Greensboro, N.C. As a young teen, Robert moved to Schenectady where he later graduated from Linton High School. Robert Sr. was an Honorable Discharged Veteran who served this country for three decades.

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Leah Thomas, his sons Bernard Milewski, Robert Thomas, Jr., Richard Thomas, Damian Mykel and his only daughter, Victoria Thomas (Cochran). Robert had a long list of 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan Street, Schenectady, New York, on

Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
