Schenectady — Linda Susco, 78, of Schenectady, New York, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Ellis Hospital.

Linda was born November 8, 1947, in Schenectady, New York. She grew up and lived in Schenectady and Rotterdam. She attended Linton High School and Austin Beauty School, where she became a licensed cosmetologist.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed bingo, was an avid reader, loved word searches, and was a wonderful cook.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Vincent Susco, to whom she was married for over 30 years; her beloved son, Michael Christopher Susco; her parents, Benjamin and Virginia Makowski; and her sister, Deborah Makowski.

Linda is survived by her children, April Couture, Daniel Susco, and Stephen (Sabina) Susco; her grandsons, Tommy Couture and Xavier Susco; her great-grandson, Thomas Couture; her brothers, Bernard, Denis, Paul, Benjamin, and Carl; her sister, Regina (Joseph) Gutierrez and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 22, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
