Rotterdam, New York — Bernard R. Ryan
Bernard R. “Bud” Ryan, 64, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at his home in Rotterdam.
Born in Albany, New York, Bud was the son of the late Arthur and Eleanor Ryan and was a lifelong resident of the Capital Region. In addition to music, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and carrying on cherished family traditions. He had a special love for his pets, especially his beloved Chihuahua, Estrella.
Bud is survived by his loving wife, Maria; his children, Jonathan Ryan, Patricia Ryan, Erin Ryan, and Justin Ryan; and his cherished grandchildren, Arabella Ryan, Alyssia Ryan, Aria Ryan, Jayden Ryan, Amalia Colon, Kevin Sears, Tylor Sears, Aaliyah Sears, Zhakary Ryan, Jacob Ryan, and Caydance Ryan. He is also survived by his sisters, Debbie Ryan and Amy Ryan-White.
