Viviana Vincenza DellaPorta, lovingly known as “Vivi,” 10, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Though her time here was far too short, Vivi filled every moment with a light and spirit that will never be forgotten.

Born in Niskayuna, New York, Vivi was one of three beloved children born to Robert and Sarah DellaPorta. She attended Hillside School in Niskayuna, where her bright smile, loving heart, and unforgettable personality touched the lives of classmates, teachers, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Vivi was kind, loving, strong-willed and could be quite the little diva in the best of ways. Her strength was evident from the very beginning, bravely enduring three surgeries before she was even six months old. Despite every challenge, she lived life with grace, courage, curiosity and a smile that could light up any room.

Vivi was quite the dancing queen ,she never missed a beat. No matter where she was, if there was music playing, she was moving. Whether she was learning dances with her siblings or grooving on her own to her favorite song, Vivi brought joy and energy everywhere she went. To her older siblings, Vivi was the glue that held the family together, the heart of their home and the source of endless laughter, joy, and love. Her infectious smile and radiant spirit made every room brighter simply because she was in it. Her energy was truly one of a kind.

Viviana is survived by her loving parents, Robert and Sarah DellaPorta; her cherished siblings, Julianna and Logan; her maternal grandmother, Joanne Pemberton; her paternal grandparents, Giovannino and Franca DellaPorta; her great-grandmother, Vincenza Farina; her aunts and uncles, Jessica Peters, Heidi Morales (Pemberton),Giancarlo DellaPorta, Raffaele (Marissa) DellaPorta, Jay Pemberton, and Geoff Pemberton; her cousins, Giovanni and Angelo; her beloved canine companion, Blu with whom she loved playing hide-and-seek; and her cousin dog, JimLee. Vivi was predeceased by her grandfather, James L Pemberton.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
