Obituary of Patricia Williams

Glenville - Patricia Williams, 92, passed away peacefully in the arms of her daughter and granddaughter on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Glendale Nursing Home. Patricia was born in Beacon, NY, the daughter of the late William and Elsie Cahill. Her mother died when Patricia was 8 years old and Patricia took on a motherly role to her two younger siblings at that time. These early years were very formative for Patricia and taught her to be the wonderful, strong, caring and loving mother, homemaker and wife she was. Patricia and her late husband, Alexander G. Williams, loved traveling the country while volunteering for SOWERS (Servants On Wheels Ever Ready), providing help to orphanages, church's and Christian schools. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by their children, Patrician and David and by their great-granddaughter, Christine. Patricia is survived by her children, Barbara Weaver, Lizabeth (Thomas) Keehan and Jessica (John) Weaver; grandchildren, Pamela, Erin, Christopher, Jennifer, Rebecca, David T., Matthew, Rachael, Lisa, Alex James, Samantha and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Melissa, Cassandra, Jack, Angelina, Jacob, Joseph, Dylan, Christopher, Skyler, Seth, Brett, Namine, Saiya, Brodey, Cayden, JeromeDavid, Jamel, Cameron, Seana, and Alyssa; great-great-grandchildren, Xavier and Cyrus, and Castiel. The funeral service will be Monday 10 a.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours will be Sunday 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Glendale Home Residence Council, 59 Hetcheltown Rd., Glenville, NY 12302.
