Obituary of David Ruff

Glenville—David Ruff, 70, passed away Wednesday June 21, 2023 after a brief illness. David was born in Niskayuna, the son of the late Francis Ruff and Shirley Ramsey and lived most of his life in Niskayuna and Albany. He graduated from Mont Pleasant High School and attended SUNY Plattsburgh. David worked as a printer with Moore Graphics in Albany. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Paris, France and London, England. In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his step-mother Lois Mulvey. David is survived by his sisters: Linda Pallante (Americo) of Rotterdam, Karen Stenard (John) of Glenville, Carol Schultz (Bob) of Saratoga. Brothers: Gary Ramsey (Barbara) of Sugar Land, TX and Timothy Ramsey. Nephews: John Stenard 3rd of Ballston Lake, Chris Stenard of Menifee, CA, Jason Pallante of Tampa, FL., niece Cynthia Schultz of Saratoga, and several great-nieces and nephews. David's funeral will be Thursday 11:00 am at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A Calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Grove Cemetery, Delanson, NY.
