Obituary of Donald Mizenko

Donald J. Mizenko, 58, of Furman St., died Thursday, August 13, 2009, suddenly. Don was born in Schenectady, a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and Hudson Valley Community College. For many years, he was a house painter, working throughout the Capital District. He loved to go to the Saratoga Race Track and enjoyed golf. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Glantzis-Mizenko; two children, Lisa Glantzis and Michael Glantzis of Schenectady; his father, Joseph Mizenko of Schenectady; two sisters, Barbara Mizenko of Schenectady and Lori MacFarlane of Clifton Park; two grandsons, Michael Glantzis and Angelo Pezzi; and many devoted cousins. Don was predeceased by his mother, Lorraine Mizenko. Funeral service Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.
