Obituary of Mary Connelly

Scotia - Mary Kelly Connelly, 69, from Scotia, NY passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 26th surrounded by her loving family. Born December 12, 1943 in Schenectady, NY to the late William and Alice Kelly. She graduated from St. Columba's High School and worked many years and retired from Scotia-Glenville School District. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Ann Vadney. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Daniel Connelly, and her children, William (Alison) Connelly, grandchildren, Jack, Allie, and Patrick; Kelly (Dean) Snyder, grandchildren, Gillian and Brennan; Kimberly (Buddy) Watson, grandchildren, Daniel, Finley, and Avery; and our large, loving extended family. Mary had a very strong faith. She had enthusiasm for the simplicity of life. She found great joy in people, and listened with an open heart to find the connection with God through others. Funeral service, Wednesday, morning 8:15 from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. and 9 a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha (Rosa Rd.) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
