Sprakers - William Bill Jabonaski, formerly of Schenectady, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at the age of 70. Bill was born in Albany, the son of the late Peter and Yvonne Jabonaski. He was raised in Albany by his father, Peter and stepmother, Teresa Jabonaski. Bill graduated from Van Rensselaer High School and the GE Apprentice Program. He attended Northeastern University and graduated with his bachelor's degree from State University of New York at Albany and went on to earn his MBA from RPI. In addition to being a commodities broker for many years, Bill owned and operated multiple small businesses throughout the Capital Region. Bill is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol (Repice) Jabonaski; son, Timothy Milne; sister, Karen (Richard) Mayfield; nieces, Maja Florentine and Alicia Christie; nephews, Frank Herba, Christopher Tupper and Brent Mayfield; and several other relatives. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Peter Jabonaski and sister, Joyce Jabonaski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha, Union St., (formerly St. Helen's). A calling hour will precede the mass at the church from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
