Obituary of Patricia Fleischman

Schenectady - Patricia (Patty) E. Fleischman died on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Ellis Hospital surrounded by her family. Patty was the daughter of the late Philip J. Fleischman Sr. and Rosemary Fleischman. She is survived by her three sons; Matthew Carter (Casey), Hank Graham and Keith Graham. Patty is also survived by three sisters; Nancy Bailey (Jeff), Barbara Battaglioli (Gino) and Mary Fleischman; and her sister-in-law, Rita Fleischman. Patty was predeceased by her brother, Philip (Joe) Fleischman. Patty leaves behind two beloved grandchildren; Lauren and Shaun Carter; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Patty was born on November 11, 1955 in Schenectady. She graduated from Linton High School and worked as a waitress for many years, most recently at Broadway Lunch. Patty was very caring and friendly and enjoyed the friendship of so many of her customers. Patty knew someone everywhere she went by their first name and they all knew Patty. She loved her job and was very sad to give it up when she became ill. Patty had a real love for Lake George and enjoyed many trips there with her sons. Patty's memory will be cherished by her many friends and family. She was a loving, kind person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service Thursday 12 noon at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St. Calling hours Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
