Schenectady - MaryAnn Glantzis, 67, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013. MaryAnn was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Leon and Genevieve Kuhn and was a lifelong area resident. She was educated in Schenectady and graduated from Linton High School. MaryAnn was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and was considered a second mom to many neighborhood children. She was a also a communicant of St. Luke's Parish. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Glantzis; son, Michael Glantzis; grandsons, Michael Glantzis Jr. and Angelo Pezzi; and her feline companions, Sophie and R J. MaryAnn was predeceased by her husband, Donald Mizenko. The funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours will precede the service from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
