Schenectady - Teresa Francolino, 75, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014. Teresa was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Anton and Mary Anna (DeMarco) Francolino and was a lifelong resident. She was educated in Schenectady and graduated from Mont Pleasant High School, employed by New York State Department of Corrections from 1961 to 1995 and was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony's Church. Teresa is survived by her cousins, Susan Mogavero of Schenectady, Elena (Steven) Fehervari of Guilderland, George (Jennifer) Mogavero of Newburgh, Lauren and Lexi Fehervari of Guilderland and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Frank Francolino and cousin, George Mogavero. Teresa's family would like to thank the staff of Kingsway Arms Nursing Center for the warm and gentle care given to Teresa during her illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 9 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Union St., Schenectady. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kingsway Arms Nursing Scholarship Fund, 323 Kings Rd., Schenectady, NY 12304.
