Schenectady - Susan C. Henderson, 53, of N. Brandywine Ave., died Friday, May 16, 2014 , at home, unexpectedly. Susan was born in Gloversville, the daughter of James Brown and Jessilin Cole, where she had also attended Gloversville High School. For many years she was a paralegal secretary for Attorney James Martin. Her favorite activities included bowling, pool, cards, watching football and enjoying time with family. She is survived by five children: Cory, Mario. Miguel Quiahna and J. Marcus; her mother, Jessilin Simon, her father, James (Catherin) Brown; sisters: Robin (Harry), Eleanor Lynn, Carol, Jewel (Johnny) and Tina; brothers: Earl (Jack), Bruce (Tiffany), Tracy (Linda), Marcus (Cheryl), Steven (Kendal), James (Nikalah) and Norman; fifteen grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Grandma Jewel, a sister, Marian and a brother, Jamie. Funeral service will be held Thursday morning, May 22, 2014, 11:00 at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment, Vale Cemetery, Schenectady.
