Obituary of Daniel Brennan

Schenectady - Daniel F. Brennan, Sr., 51, died Sunday, August 10, 2014, in the Town of Catskill. Dan was born in Schenectady, the son of David and Lois Brucker Brennan, Sr. and was a graduate of Mohonasen Central Schools. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Dan worked as an aviation mechanic for several years with Signature Flight Support and most recently he was a logistic coordinator for several firms. He enjoyed all outdoor sports and was an avid fan of Notre Dame football, the Yankees and Giants. He is survived by three children: Daniel F. Brennan, Jr. of Elkhart, IN, Katelyn Brennan of Coloma, MI and Brandon Knappenberger of Sacramento, CA; his parents David and Lois Brucker Brennan, Sr.; three siblings: David (Michele) Brennan, Jr. of Gansevoort, Linda Herb of Schenectady and Diane (Joseph) Welsh of Berne; Cynthia Brennan (mother of Daniel Jr. and Katelyn) aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday morning 9:00 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours Thursday afternoon 4:00 to 8:00 in the evening at Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Interment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, with military honors.
