Eulie Bertha Cannice, 94, of Riggi Ave., died at her home Monday, August 18, 2014. Eulie was born and educated in Messina and moved to the Schenectady area many years ago. Eulie had worked at the General Electric Co in the financedepartment for many years, retiring several years ago. She was one of 19 children and known lovingly to her siblings and many nieces and nephews as Bertha. She will be remembered as always enjoying the family gatherings and doting on her many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. Eulie adored her husband Roy and they enjoyed traveling together on many trips through the years. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Cannice, they married in 1941, he died in 2004. Eulie is survived by three sisters, Winifred Pelkey, Ella Harper and Shirley McCormick; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral service, Saturday morning, 9:15 a.m. from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours Friday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308 or St. Gabriel's Church, 3040 Hamburg St., Schenectady, NY 12303
