Obituary of Sue Wos

Schenectady - Sue N. Wos, 81, of Gibson St., died Saturday, September 20, 2014, at home. Sue was born in Albany, the daughter of Salvatore and Lucia Donato. She was a graduate of Philip Schuyler High School and Mildred Elley Business School. For many years she worked in the banking industry, having worked at Schenectady Federal and Loan and the Schenectady Savings Bank. She was a longtime communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Church and a member of the Rosary Society. Sue will be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother, enjoying the family activities and gatherings. She was predeceased by her husband, August Wos, Jr.; they were married 46 years at the time of his death in 2004. She is survived by three sons, Mark (Susan) Wos of Guilderland, Paul (Martha) Wos of E. Greenbush and John (Michelle) Wos of Mason, OH; and seven grandchildren, Matthew, Meagan, Christopher, Elizabeth, Tyler, Brayden and Lindsay. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Donato. Funeral service Wednesday morning 10:15 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 11 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours Tuesday evening 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Entombment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
