Obituary of Roger Press

Schenectady - Roger J. Press, 65, of Wright Ave. died Sunday, December 28, 2014, at home. Roger was born in Schenectady, the son of Sigmund and Mary Ann Press and was a graduate of Linton High School. Through the years he worked as a painter for several companies around the Capital District. His favorite activities included fishing and camping on the Great Sacandaga Lake with family and friends and bowling. He survived by his wife of 37 years, Pamela Quinn Press; three sons, Roger (Donna Stevens) Press, Matthew and Kevin (Simone Phillips) Press; four grandchildren, Ciara Press, Laila Phinizy, Aleeya and Alyvia Press; his mother-in-law, Marge Quinn; and many brothers and sisters-in-laws. Funeral service Tuesday evening, 5 o'clock at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours Tuesday afternoon 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
