Obituary of Patricia Fisher

Schenectady - Patricia Patty Fisher, 85, passed away peacefully Saturday February 14, 2015. Patty was born in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Charles and Caroline Gallagher and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from St. Joseph's High School and Mildred Elley Business School and as a young woman worked for Schenectady County Department of Social Services. Earlier in life she was a communicant of Sacred Heart St. Columba Parish and later in life was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Schenectady. Patty is survived by her husband of 55 years, Russell Fisher and their daughter, Susan Fisher. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Fisher in 2008. She spent her life devoted to caring for her family and friends; she will be deeply missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 9 to 10 a.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady.
