Obituary of Kathleen Domery

Rotterdam Junction - Kathleen "Kathy" E. Domery, 54, of Rotterdam Junction died Monday, March 2, 2015, at home, after a lengthy illness. Kathy was born on March 4, 1960 in Schenectady. She was a graduate of Linton High School and had worked for the NYS Department of Health for several years. Most recently Kathy had worked for Coca Cola Company as an Administrative Assistant. Kathy's greatest joy in life was spending time with family. She was devoted to her husband, sons, and brothers as well as her beloved dogs Bailey and Boo. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry C. Jr and Carol McGuigan. She is survived by her husband of 34 years Henry "Tom" Domery, two sons Thomas H. Domery of Denver, Co and Patrick (Amanda) Domery of Chatham, NY; 5 brothers: Henry (Kathi) McGuigan of Princetown, Elliott (Sally) McGuigan of Rotterdam, Timothy (Karen) McGuigan of Winter Park, Fla, James (Kerry) McGuigan and Thomas (Michele) McGuigan of Neptune, NJ, as well as many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Thursday evening 5 to 8 pm. at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. Schenectady. A celebration of life and prayer service will be held on Friday morning, 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Kathy's family would like to thank Dr. Junichi Yamamoto and Dr. Makenzi Evangelist and the staff of Albany Medical Center for their care and kindness during Kathy's illness.
