Amelia Chupka Aldi, 85, formerly of Rotterdam Jct., passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Amsterdam, Amelia was a presser for Kem Cleaners for 25 years before retiring. Daughter of the late Stephen and Anastasia Chupka and wife of the late Angelo M. Aldi, Jr.; and sister of the late Estelle Duffy and Casey Chupka. She is survived by a son, Michael S. Aldi (Bonnie) of Glenville and a daughter, Shirley Aldi Favata (Mark) of Rotterdam; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 10:15 from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., and 11 a.m. at St. Margaret of Cortona Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. There will be an hour of visitation Thursday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
