Obituary of Albert Carey JR

Albert D. Squeak Carey, Jr. ColonieAlbert D. Squeak Carey, Jr., 60, of Central Ave., died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at home. Squeak was born in Schenectady the son of Albert Sr. and Jean Carey. He was a graduate of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. Al was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He worked for New York State as a groundskeeper, working at O.D. Heck prior to retiring in 2009. Squeak will be remembered for his passion for music, entertaining others with karaoke and was a D.J. at many local establishments in the Schenectady area. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth M. Brown Carey. Survivors include two siblings, Conrad (Nancy) Carey of Edgewater, FL and Jeanne Carey of St. Johnsville, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service, Sunday afternoon 5 p.m. at the Daly Funeral Home Inc. 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours, 2 to 5 in the afternoon at the funeral home.
