Glenville - Gerard "Jerry" Hart, 72, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015, surrounded by his loving family, after a five year battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was the son of the late Edward and Mary Hart of Albany. After 30 years, he retired from the General Electric in 1998. He was an avid bowler, with six 300 games to his credit and a lifetime Red Sox fan. Jerry was the "life of the party". You could either find him at the track or on the dance floor, but his true love was his two grandchildren, Aiden and Jackie. He is survived by his soulmate, Donna, loving wife of 45 years; son, Brian, of Schenectady; daughter, Karen (Richard) Boulay; grandchildren, Aiden and Jacqueline, of Charleston, NY; brother, Edward (Marymel) Hart, of Slingerlands; sisters, Maryanne McNeil, of Delmar and Alice Smith, of Colonie; brother-in-law, Terry Hay, of Hyde Park; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service, Thursday morning, 11 a.m. at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours, Wednesday afternoon, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the evening at the funeral home. Interment, St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville. Memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
