Obituary of Dolores Hameline

Middletown, CT - Dolores Pontoriero Hameline, 88, of Middletown, CT, formerly of Lucy Rd., Rotterdam, passed away September 22, 2015, following a long illness. Dolores was born in Utica on August 9, 1927, the daughter of Jerome and Anna Pontoriero, and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and continued on to receive a registered nursing degree from Faxton Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a nurse in several capacities. She enjoyed artwork, sewing and Italian cooking, was involved in many volunteer organizations, including The Saint Paul the Apostle Rosary Society and Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons Alumni Mother's Club. She was predeceased by her husband, George F. Hameline, they married on October 5, 1963, they were married for 43 years at the time of his death in 2006. Dolores is survived by daughters, Judith (Donald) Munns of Marietta, GA and Susan (Andrew) Kasznay of Middletown, CT. She leaves her beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Anna Munns and Madeline and Emma Kasznay; a sister, Joan Infusino of Marcy; and many nieces and nephew, friends and her caregiver, Stella Owusa of Middletown, CT. Funeral service, Monday morning 10:30 a.m. from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 11 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours, Monday morning, 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
