Marie E. Monlea, 96, of Consaul Rd., died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Ellis Hospital. Marie was born and educated in Schenectady, the daughter of Fred and Clara Hiller. Her favorite past times included reading and gardening. She was a communicant of St Paul the Apostle Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank G. Monlea, he died in 1988. Survivors include two children, Deanna Kot of Scotia and Dale Monlea of Scotia; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her son, Thomas Monlea; and all of her siblings. Funeral service, Wednesday morning, 10:15 a.m. from Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 11 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A calling hour will be held from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to St Paul the Apostle Church, 2733 Albany St,. Schenectady, NY 12304
