Obituary of Lazarus Coppola

Schenectady - Lazarus J. Coppola, 83, of Lenox Rd., died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at home. Lazarus was born in Schenectady, the son of John and Mary Magdalena Coppola and was a graduate of Schenectady schools. He was a U S Army veteran and had worked for many years for the City of Schenectady, retiring in 1996, as a Supervisor in the Maintenance Department. He was a member of the Nisk-A-Mont Sportsman Alliance and avid trap and skeet shooter, an outdoorsman and participated in French and Indian War and Civil War re-enactments. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Coppola, she died in 1976. He is survived by two children, David Coppola and Joan Coppola; two granddaughters, Rachel Keeler and Aisha Goettl.
